Automation & Innovation in Action, Airport A&I 2020: Claus Grunow
During his 14 years with Deutsche Bahn, Claus developed several new businesses within the new mobility sector ranging from ride pooling to car and bike sharing, offering user-centric ‘on demand mobility‘. Claus is now responsible for digitalisation, information and transformation for the world’s largest airport operator (Fraport) and will be discussing ‘automation and innovation in action at Fraport’ at Airport A&I 2020.
‘Even though flying is still a fascination for many of us, we don’t want to do it unless the ‘airport experience’ is as smooth and convenient as elsewhere in life. Thanks to digitalisation, efficient processes, personalised offers and tailored services are now a basic expectation. Airports everywhere need to stay on top of their game as they are in global competition, both with each other and, even more, with other modes of transport.’
