Building on the success of the one-day CASS (Complex Airfield Systems Strategy) session held in Niagara Falls ahead of SWIFT 25, this two day workshop brought together leading European (Berlin, Copenhagen, Heathrow, Prague, Gatwick & Schiphol and Dublin) and North American airports (Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa and Yuma) alongside airlines, manufacturers and industry stakeholders, at Heathrow’s Compass Centre.
With headline sponsorship from Eagle Aerospace and MOOG, the workshop delivered a dynamic programme of first-hand, expert-led sessions and interactive discussions.
The recurring theme of the two day meeting was how to streamline airfield operational efficiency and safety using operational technologies, autonomous vehicles and digital ATC whilst enhancing cybersecurity. The clear destination fully integrated airfield systems though the journey is ongoing.
The intimate nature of the group (30, invite-only participants) enabled participants to define shared challenges, identify opportunities, and exchange best practices freely in an open, collaborative environment.
