Event Overview
As complex airfield technologies advance, our challenge is to explore the benefits of integrating the diverse systems. In some cases, the opportunity may already be here whilst in others, a considered approach is required to identify what additional benefits integration can provide and how best to progress. The CASS workshop is facilitated by specialist aviation consultants, Alchemmy.
- What are the common desired outcomes?
- Open system architectures?
- Defining standards?
This newly-formed CASS (Complex Airfield Systems Strategy) working group seeks to address these questions and more, by sharing our Airfield Systems Strategies. A bespoke group of airports, airlines and ATSPs will be joined by a small collection of complex system providers who can listen, advise technically and collaborate – without active selling.
The group (max 25-30 engaged participants) can review brief stories from airports and a few airlines including AA / Emirates / BA and EZ and ATSPS (NATS) and case studies in either the form of a business problem they want to address, or review / learning from one that has been or attempted to be addressed.
The day is facilitated by aviation thinking tank / strategy / business change experts, Alchemmy. Through a series of set exercises, they will facilitate the vision, objective and path forward as we explore ways to de-risk ‘innovative’ integration projects and create a common ‘framework’.
