Record-Breaking Turnout for SWIFT Europe Equipment Edition in London

SWIFT Europe 2026 marked a significant milestone, bringing together 215 registered delegates for the largest edition of the event to date and the first equipment-focused format to be held in Europe.

Organised by Aviation Events Group, the event took place at the London Marriott Hotel Heathrow, where a full conference programme ran alongside a sold-out exhibition, creating a strong platform for industry engagement. Activity also extended beyond the main venue, with live equipment demonstrations hosted at the Aeromag Facility, giving delegates the opportunity to experience the latest technologies in an operational setting.

A range of leading manufacturers – including Aebi Schmidt, Aeromag, MOOG, Ascento, AeroPless, Moventor, and headline sponsor Bucher – presented new developments in airside equipment and technology. The combination of exhibition presence and live demonstrations contributed to a practical and application-focused environment.

The conference programme remained central to the event, continuing its ‘for airports, by airports’ approach. Developed with input from an expert committee, sessions focused on operational challenges, innovation, and evolving industry requirements. Over two days, participants engaged in peer-led discussions, shared experiences, and explored approaches to improving efficiency, safety, and sustainability across airside operations.

This peer-driven format continues to support open exchange between airport operators and technology providers, ensuring that content remains closely aligned with real-world needs.

Looking ahead, planning is already in progress for upcoming editions. Registration is open for SWIFT ’26 in Edmonton, while SWIFT Europe is scheduled to return to London from 20 – 22 April 2027 with further developments to the event format.
